Be it pandemic era or not, our life has changed in last few years and during this time staying positive and motivated is the main focus of every individual.

Following are some incredible ways on how to be productive and stay motivated which can be of a great benefit to everyone:

1. Read More Books

Books make your neurological circuits more stronger and sophisticated! Hence, they say, ‘Books broaden our mind’

One should have a goal to read a certain number of books in a year. Reading books provide knowledge and it also improves functional skills. As for me, I mostly read books on subjects I like and anything which provides positivity.

It helps reduce stress levels and most importantly it keeps the brain active. So, I would encourage everyone to read and gain knowledge.

P.S. It helps to fall asleep better.

2. Being A Curated Minimalist

By this I mean, if at all I wish to own a car then I am happy to purchase a small compact one. It doesn’t need to be fancy or sophisticated. I believe that purpose of a car is to travel from one point to the other. Instead of overspending and have a fancy automobile, I chose to be comfortable while traveling yet serving its main purpose.

In the same way, buying an iPhone shouldn’t be a necessity or even buying a house and many other items. It should be bought unless required for a purpose. Hence, one should choose to become a minimalist and have better financial stability.

3. Follow Your Passion

Passion is the way forward!

It’s true your interest keeps changing. Like during school I liked singing and used to participate in singing competitions. When I started working, I got interested in cooking, makeup artistry, yoga, etc. and so slowly I started to follow my passion.

That’s when I realized that I can change my passion into work and which is the reason I have followed my passion to pursue my career as an image consultant. So, for every individual using their passion can actually land into making a career.

4. Invest Time On Physical Activity

Good health is the key to being more productive!

During the pandemic, many have suffered from illness and there are individuals who are still recovering. Keeping ourselves healthy is vital during such times. Invest at least 15-20 mins every day in any physical activity. I religiously follow yoga as I have seen a lot of improvements like better sleep, reduced back pain, stress relief, etc.

5. Set Goals Every Year

Goals make us move forward!

Setting a goal like trying for a promotion/salary raise/buying an item or can even be changing diet etc. If it is for your personal or professional improvement then I would very much agree with the fact that one should definitely set a goal and work on achieving it.

By doing this not only helps you grow but also leaves a lasting impression on your peers that you are working towards success.

6. Learn Something New

It could be as simple as gardening!

Improving your skills doesn’t always mean investing in higher education. It can be on personal growth too for e.g., learning new language/writing stories or poetry, gardening, learning a new instrument, enrolling in gourmet cooking, etc.

However, if an individual wants to develop skills professionally then it can be achieved by utilizing learning opportunities like enrolling in workshops, attending conferences, or participate in webinars. Many of these are free, so take advantage of them as far as possible. If you are interested in getting ahead in life, this may be a great place to start since investing in yourself as extra skills will open more doors.

The surest way to achieve a better-quality life, and be successful, productive, and satisfied is to prioritize investing in both personal and professional growth. The effort you put into consistently investing in yourself plays a large role in determining the quality of your life now and in the future.
